GeoDesign Welcomes Lon Yandell!

We’re pleased to announce that Lon Yandell has joined GeoDesign as a Principal Geologist. Lon brings over 32 years of environmental experience in the Pacific Northwest to our team, focusing on site investigations, site cleanups and risk-based closures, and the redevelopment of both simple and complex brownfields sites.

His extensive brownfields experience includes hundreds of projects for private companies and dozens of municipalities throughout the western United States, including six EPA Cooperative Grant projects in Oregon where he has successfully prepared winning EPA Brownfields grant applications for his clients. As a senior brownfields practitioner, Lon is highly experienced in developing innovative redevelopment and closure strategies to accelerate the regulatory closure process and significantly reduce redevelopment costs. Lon is also a skilled negotiator, public speaker, technical presenter, and public outreach liaison.
