What we did:
- Environmental pre-construction and construction consulting
- Prepared and implemented Phase II Remedial Design/Action Plan to satisfy DEQ environmental requirements
- Supported earthwork contractor with contaminated and hazardous soil management, characterization, and landfill disposal profiling
- DEQ hazardous waste reporting
- Prepared project closeout report
- Geotechnical scope included specialized shoring and foundation design
- Structure is supported on high-capacity steel pipe piles
- Light-weight fill was used around the building to mitigate settlement and reduce potential lateral earth pressures on the basement walls
