  • Facility built in partnership with the Oregon University System
  • Allows Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) to expand incoming class size

What we did:

  • Environmental pre-construction and construction consulting
  • Prepared and implemented Phase II Remedial Design/Action Plan to satisfy DEQ environmental requirements
  • Supported earthwork contractor with contaminated and hazardous soil management, characterization, and landfill disposal profiling
  • DEQ hazardous waste reporting
  • Prepared project closeout report
  • Geotechnical scope included specialized shoring and foundation design
  • Structure is supported on high-capacity steel pipe piles
  • Light-weight fill was used around the building to mitigate settlement and reduce potential lateral earth pressures on the basement walls
