Sunset La Cienega

Sunset La CienegaWe’ve been busy in Anaheim! GeoDesign performed a geotechnical investigation for the proposed Sunset La Cienega development in West Hollywood – including drilling over 20 borings, developing groundwater and bedrock profiles, and providing foundation, shoring, and below-wall-grade design alternatives. When complete, Sunset La Cienega will include two 10-story high-rise hotel towers with nearly 300 rooms, ground-floor retail, and an open-air plaza, as well as two eight-story residential towers with 190 total units.

Our bedrock and groundwater profiles allowed the design and construction team to evaluate alternatives that should project to considerable savings, as well as reduce risks related to unanticipated conditions during construction. GeoDesign has also provided construction observation services of geotechnical elements, such as earthwork and foundations.
